Due to weather, mis placed helmets, and a few other factors, I went a few days last week without riding. We walked up the hill to pick up PeterXavier one afternoon. It's amazing how much easier it is to ride up that hill than to push a stroller up it!
We went up to my parents on Monday - I drove and Andrew and the kids met me up there on bikes. Since I was itching to ride after my few days hiatus, I jumped on the bike at the end of the day and rode home. It's an easy, downhill, mile and a half ride. It was great to just coast down and home.
Christopher has been quickly outgrowing his bike and PeterXavier is out skilling his. The good thing about having so many children is that you can purchase one new item for the top kid and then just shift the rest upward. PeterXavier was more than happy to acquire his brothers Specialized. We found a great deal on a Giant for Christopher and now everyone is properly fitted and happy! Hopefully we are all set for a long time now.
